I have been studying Pilates for three years and working with Dorothy for a little over one. I’ve worked with some of the best Pilates instructors in New York but Dorothy is truly special. I am privileged to have her as a teacher. She has a wonderful uplifting and positive manner and is relentless in making me believe I can do anything — even the most advanced exercises. She brings a unique creativity and energy to every session as well as a critical eye for what I am not doing correctly and immediately makes adjustments – sometimes they are small, but have huge results.
Dorothy thinks outside the box to keep me engaged and excited about our workouts. Every week I learn something new. She doesn’t merely provide me with an incredibly fun and challenging workout; she teaches proper form and alignment so I will be able to safely continue my Pilates practice for years to come.
